FAQs

Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yes. Classes run for the full academic year, late August through late May.  Courses run every 6-7 weeks, breaking for holidays and any specific dates listed in the course schedule. We then switch to a camp schedule for June & July.

Dress for a creative mess!  We are not responsible for damaged clothing.

NO private lessons are offered at the present time.

No. All classes are drop-off format for the comfort and safety of all my artists.

Art classes have a consecutive thread of instruction that builds on weekly skills.  An allowance might be made if there is room and you’ve only missed the 1st class.

When a class is full, please join the waitlist.  We will do everything we can to accommodate all young artists who wish to participate. If a spot opens up you will receive a priority email to register. The waitlist does not guarantee your spot. Your spot is reserved once you have registered and paid. We do not hold spots.

If it is your first session we recommend arriving a few minutes early so that we can show you around. Please be on time for class. If you are running late to class or for pick-up, please send us a text at 469-585-8461. The studio will close at the end of the session. Late pick-ups may be subject to additional fees.

Policies

Late drop-off

We understand that traffic happens! A 5-minute grace period is allowed for drop-offs. However, arriving more than 10 minutes late can disrupt the class and leave your young artist missing important instructions. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Late pick-up

Please do your best to be prompt for pick up!

*NOTE: If routinely late, a $3 per minute fee will be charged.

Missed Class:

  • The art studio is closed for major holidays and any dates in your class listing.
  • Classes canceled due to instructor absence, inclement weather, or unforeseen circumstances will be made up at the end, or credit given.
  • Students who miss the class of their own accord, vacation, or other activity will not receive a refund, credit, or make-up opportunity.
  • Student make-up classes are not offered at this time.

Missed Camp Days:

  • Individuals who miss camp days, do so at their own loss. There are no refunds as there is no time to advertise and fill your empty seat.

Code of Conduct:

  • There is one main rule at the art studio: RESPECT.
  • Respect each other, the teacher, the materials, and the art studio.
  • If student behavior steps over the line, a phone call or email will be made to the family.
  • Disruptive and disrespectful behavior affects the learning of other students. If more than one discussion with the family needs to be made, disruptive students will be asked to discontinue classes at the family’s expense (no refunds).
  • Behavior that poses a threat to other students, the studio, or myself will be asked to leave immediately.
